To Our great regret, we, Martin & Silvia on behalf of Dance to the 60 's decided to no longer organize the Rock ' N Roll Day in the shopping centre of Oosterheem.

We have been able to organize this day at 12x in Zoetermeer and after conversations with Ivo (from Ivo Snacks) We have held the last 4 times the day in Oosterheem.
The Retailers ' Association gave up the budget, and we then had to make sure we settled everything for this budget.
The last 3 editions were more difficult for us since there was always some licensing and changing of the owner of the mall.
But every year it has always been good by the cooperation of us with the management of the Shopkeepers Association.

Until this year.... From November onwards We are already working to get the go to organize the day again...  

Finally February 20, a conversation, the Rock n Roll Day is also going on this year! After a nice and good conversation with someone from an event agency we thought it was okay. 
Then the sentence came, beautiful then we also talk with the other party. 
Huh what... Eh other party.... The Rock ' n Roll day that we have been organizing for years and in Zoetermeer and far beyond is known for the pleasant day that people like to go to?
Heavily disappointed and disillusioned we left.... How can this be? 
The other party turns out to be another old member of the Dance school too!

The Day itself was a great success every year because of the good band Choice and even international bands, the members of the dance school who committed themselves for 110% to make the day run smoothly. The dancers of us and certainly also friendly dance schools from all over the country and the proud owners of the Classic Cars.

But the most beautiful of the day are all seniors who came down with their mobility scooter, rollators and even folding chairs. Even people who were with complete families on balconies to enjoy the day. Seniors who keep us standing all year round to ask when the Rock ' N Roll Day is there again and to tell how great they find the day.

Having said This in combination with the fact that people in the area indicate that this is the most fun event in the mall, you would say that we have built up some credit anyway.

Very bad.

In any case, We will continue to organise this day, in a different location.

IN ADDITION TO THE DONATE ACTION, WE SINCERELY HOPE THAT YOU WILL BE PRESENT ON 13 JULY, MASSIVELY AND WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, TO BUCK US UP!

Rock 'n Roll Dance Lessons!!

It is fun to dance at Dance to the 60's because:
• It is cheap, only 70 euro p.p fo a period of 3 months!!
• The lessons are unforced, Cozy and with a sence of humor
• Within' a few weeks you are allready dancing Properly.
• The people in this club are between the age of 17 and 80 years old. Age doesn't matter.
• The basic is for everyone the same, however everyone dance their own way.
• The music is knowable for everyone.
• You'll get to know nice people.
• Dancing is one of the easiest way to keep moving.
• You're at the site of the cosiest and cutest danceschools there is!
